ANXIETY
Anxiety is characterized by intense and excessive worry and fear about everyday situations. When going through an anxiety attack, a person can experience increased heart rate, rapid breathing, and sweating. Everyone feels anxious from time to time about different situations; that’s normal. But when anxiety becomes persistent and long-term, it can compromise quality of living, interfere with relationships, and may lead to its sister disease: depression.
Our favorite therapy for anxiety at A to Zinc Nutrition is food and nutrient therapy! We use the MRT® (Mediator Release Test) to help identify foods that are causing inflammation as well as foods that are least inflammatory. We use a second blood test to measure vitamin and mineral deficiencies. Working with our Registered Dietitian and Certified LEAP Therapist will ensure success in reducing inflammation through foods and restoring deficiencies of specific nutrients that will lead to better emotional balance, a more stable response to stressful situations, and improved quality of life!
