CHRONIC CONDITIONS

Do migraines, IBS, or other chronic symptoms control your life?  Take control of your symptoms and get your life back without all the frustrating guess work.  This comprehensive program gives you precise blood tests, clinical assessment, and specific life coaching to get the results you desire.

IBS

IBS, otherwise known as Irritable Bowel Syndrome, can be a case of chronic diarrhea, constipation, or a mix of both.  When all the tests have failed to produce a diagnosis for your chronic complicated digestion, your doctor tells you that you have IBS.  It’s little better than saying, “We don’t know what’s wrong with you and we don’t know how to help you.”  Sometimes you get some medication.  Sometimes you get told to stay away from gluten.  Other times you might get told to get some rest and reduce your stress.

So what do you do when none of those things work?  You’re frustrated, and tired of running around in circles.  You’ve also likely tried probiotics and digestive enzymes because that information is evident everywhere.  The problem with all the solutions offered is that none of them get to the root cause of the problem.  To be free of IBS, you must heal your gut.  You can heal your gut most effectively and efficiently with MRT testing and coaching from a Certified LEAP Therapist.

Anxiety and Depression

Americans have become increasingly aware of mental illness, and more people are seeking help.  This is a good thing!  Doctors can help with providing medication, and mental health therapists can help with life situations or past traumas that trigger anxiety and/or depression.  But be aware that there are other types of interventions to use in junction with those therapies that center around gut healing which in turn supports brain and emotional function.  It could mean that medication becomes optional or short-term.

Our favorite therapy for anxiety and depression at A to Zinc Nutrition is food therapy!  We use the MRT® (Mediator Release Test) to help identify the foods that are causing you inflammation.  It measures your immune response to 140 foods and 30 chemicals.  Working with a Certified LEAP Therapist will help you identify the foods to eat, the foods to avoid, and the strategies to make your eating plan successful.  Most patients feel 25-75% better in as little as 10 days just by eating their least inflammatory foods.

Chronic Fatigue

Tired of feeling tired all the time?  So often people attribute fatigue to aging, stress, or not sleeping well.  While a small part of that might be true, often fatigue is tied more to inflammatory foods and nutrient deficiencies specific to the individual.  We know this because even after “putting your feet up”, exercising, or other intervention strategies, you’re still feeling tired.  All the time.

Identifying the foods that are causing inflammation and the nutrients you are deficient in can lead you to a life full of energy, enthusiasm, and time to do more things you enjoy.  Find out today which foods to eat and which to eliminate, and which supplements to take that will give you the energy, and the life, you’re looking for.

Heartburn/GERD

Heartburn is one of the most common digestion ailments affecting people today.  Until it gets very serious, people often dismiss it as not a big concern such as excusing that it was just something they ate or they pop a few antacids and go on their merry way.  Ignoring heartburn, though, can lead to long term complications including some as serious as esophageal cancer.  Yikes!

Dietary intervention is a great place to start.  There are some things commonly known to trigger heartburn such as:  caffeine, fatty or fried foods, spicy foods, acidic foods like tomatoes and citrus fruits, and alcohol.  Drinking plenty of water throughout the day is also important.  But what if you’ve already taken all those foods out and still can’t figure out what’s causing heartburn?  The MRT® (Mediator Release Test) will help identify the foods that are causing you inflammation.  Working with a Certified LEAP Therapist (someone trained in MRT®) will help ensure your gut healing success.

Headaches

Headaches are such a pain!  Literally and figuratively.  Whether they are frequent or occasional, they can really put the brakes on daily living.  Many people seek help from their doctors with little success.  After a time and not being able to help their patient, their doctor will eventually refer them to a neurologist.  A few patients get resolution at this level, but it’s rare.  A lot of patients leave a long series of doctor appointments frustrated after being told their pain is “all in their head”.

At A to Zinc Nutrition, we recognize many foods play a role in headache management.  You probably already heard from your doctors to take out the following:  caffeine, artificial sweeteners, and high histamine foods.  Sometimes that’s enough but for most people they need a diet more specific than that. Most patients feel 25-75% better in as little as 14 days just by eating their least inflammatory foods.

Arthritis

There are many types of arthritis, and when one receives this diagnosis, it is generally referring to joint pain or joint disease.  Common arthritis joint symptoms include swelling, pain, stiffness, and reduced mobility.  Symptoms can range from mild to severe, and worsen over time and with age.  Interestingly, it is the leading cause of disability in the United States.  In fact, arthritis can be so debilitating that a person may have difficulty in performing simple daily tasks such as self-care, cooking, or getting around.  Often when people receive an arthritis diagnosis from their doctor, they accept it as inevitable or a natural part of the aging process.  This might be true when you turn 80 or 90 years old.  But prior to that, it’s completely manageable with lifestyle interventions.

First and foremost, at A to Zinc Nutrition, we recognize that at the most basic level, arthritis is inflammation in the joints.  Reducing inflammation is what we specialize in, ultimately restoring joint function, and improving overall quality of life.  We do this through a very specific and proven process using the MRT® (Mediator Release Test) to help identify the foods that are causing you inflammation.  It measures your immune response to 140 foods and 30 chemicals.  Working with a Certified LEAP Therapist will help you identify the foods to eat, the foods to avoid, and the strategies to make your eating plan successful.  Most patients feel 25-75% better in as little as 14 days just by eating their least inflammatory foods.
